TO INDIA & THE AIRLINE LOST OUR LUGGAGE...
THAT IS HOW MONIE BUG BEGAN.
It was almost a 10 hour drive from the airport to our sister's village and it was going to take 2 days for the airline to deliver our bags. As soon as we arrived at her home, she grabbed a tape measure and, 1 hour later, presented our daughter with a stunning party dress. The Monie Bug concept was born that moment and now our other 2 sisters have joined the team.

We are simply the executioners of this crazy venture. Our plan is to bring beautiful, reasonably priced clothing to children while building sustainable change & empowerment through fair working conditions in India. All clothing is handmade by our sisters and we hope to add more women artisans to our team in India as soon as possible.
Monie Bug (pronounced Mōnē Bug) is Simone's nickname...she has always been as cute as a bug.
